Michel Blouin has been a partner in Lavery, de Billy since 1984. Since his admission to the Bar of Quebec in 1965, his practice has focused on the mining sector of the securities industry, where his work has included the incorporation, merger, acquisition, sale, amalgamation and restructuring of mining companies.

Mr. Blouin acts as general counsel and legal advisor to clients and provides advice to mining companies in all areas of interest to them, from the raising of capital and issuance of securities to concluding work agreements with international corporations and governments. Michel Blouin is listed in The 2006 LEXPERT®/The American Lawyer Media Guide To The Leading 500 Lawyers In Canada in the area of Mining Law.
